Meet Sofia, our Games and Slots Editor
Sofia looks after the games side of Casino Radar. She plays through new releases as they land, tracks the published return figures and volatility bands, and writes the slots and mini games pages. She is the reason this site distinguishes between a game's advertised figure and the setting an individual operator has actually shipped.

Q&A with Sofia
Does a higher published return mean a better game?
Not on its own. Volatility matters just as much: the same figure can arrive as frequent small wins or as long dry spells broken by rare large ones, and those are very different experiences on the same bankroll.
Why do the same games differ between casinos?
Some studios ship a title at several settings and let the operator choose. That is why the figure in the game's own info panel beats any list, including ours.
What are you playing at the moment?
Mostly the crash and instant titles that have taken over the lobbies. They are simpler than slots but the decision to step off is harder than people expect.
